AF Purifying Resin 125 ml

A special ion exchange resin for use in freshwater aquariums.
It is primarily intended for heavily populated aquariums that are struggling with the problem of elevated nitrates.
Specially designed for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water.
It works selectively and effectively absorbs nitrates from the water without affecting the content of minerals necessary for life in the aquarium. Removes harmful compounds from the water, reduces the frequency of water changes and prevents the growth of algae.

HOW TO USE:

125 ml is sufficient to clean 400 liters of water.
Place the resin in a fine mesh filter bag and then place it in the filter basket with a constant water flow.
A dark brown discoloration of the product indicates that it is worn out.
The package should then be replaced or regenerated.
Regeneration can be carried out with a chlorine-containing bleach.
The regeneration should be carried out in a 50% bleach solution for approx.
6 hours.
Then rinse the resin thoroughly and leave it in clean water for about 24 hours.
