Biopack for Rollermat XC

With the help of the BIOPAC, ROLLERMATs are transformed from a purely mechanical filter into a complete mechanical-biological filter station. The bio balls are simply filled into the drum. A strainer plug prevents the balls from going back down the drain. The BIOPAC bio balls are filled with filter sponge to increase the inner surface. In the drum, they quickly grow with bacteria and break down dissolved pollutants from the aquarium. Due to the slow rotation of the drum, the balls are moved again and again so that they cannot muddy. Too much bacterial mass that has formed flakes off, the bacteria remain highly active.
