Size: 1-3mm round grained. We recommend a layer of sand 1cm high in a normal reef aquarium.

Our sand is round-grained and therefore offers very little surface area for the current in the aquarium to attack. The result is a fine sand that is not tossed around by the current. Carib Reef Sand is also very resistant to dirt and algae deposits. The formation of phosphate deposits or nitrate deposits in the sand is counteracted.
