System volume: 567 L Aquarium volume: 496 L
Features aquarium
Dimensions: 180 x 60 x 56
The aquarium is made of crystal clear, low-iron and high-purity glass and has a bar-free design. This allows for a clean and modern presentation with easy access for maintenance.
Designing the pool to be wider than it is tall creates a balanced aspect ratio, greatly improving the viewing experience and allowing for easier and more natural aquascaping and coral placement.
In order not to disturb the flow patterns in the pool and to avoid an unattractive eye-catcher, the “invisible overflow box” of the Reef-Pro models was developed. This guarantees perfect functionality without disturbing the aesthetics of the aquarium.
The double tube overflow system allows for almost silent operation, while the use of the DD UltraFlow overflow comb allows for maximum water flow without increasing the water height in the aquarium.
Features base cabinet
Dimensions: 180 x 60 x 92
Slim, extra tall cabinet that provides the perfect viewing height for the aquarium.
Modern, durable cabinet construction with a high quality finish that enriches the home environment.
Extra high interior space for equipment installation and maintenance.
The cabinet is delivered pre-assembled as standard.
4 removable, outward-opening doors for better access for maintenance.
Painted, fully adjustable, soft-close double folding hinges.
Adjustable feet for correct leveling of the aquarium on uneven ground.
Good ventilation in the radiator and sump area.
Separate drying area with movable shelf for storing or storing electrical equipment.
When installing an aquarium, it is of utmost importance to create a level floor as unleveled cabinets can place additional stress on the glass and result in uneven water levels in the aquarium. The DD aquarium cabinet is equipped with heavy-duty, adjustable feet that allow for complete leveling of the cabinet and aquarium.
Features pump chamber/technical basin
Dimensions: 80 x 46 x 38,6
The ultra-quiet double-pipe overflow system is further refined through the first section of the technical pool, resulting in quiet water return without splashing or gurgling. When using filter socks (option when ordering), the water then overflows into a double filter sock section which is fitted with a diffuse silencer panel to reduce any water noise.
The Reef Pro aquariums come standard with a ClariSea compatible technical tank, from which the filter sock device can be removed and replaced with a ClariSea unit if necessary. This is also possible if the aquarium is already filled with water. The included main overflow line runs directly into the ClariSea inlet port, eliminating the need for cutting or modifying the lines.
After the water has passed the pre-filter, it flows into a large device chamber. This chamber can accommodate equipment such as skimmers, media reactors, calcium reactors, etc.
The final section is a return pump chamber that sits next to the integrated water collection tank.
ClariSea ready
As mentioned in the section above, the DD Reef-Pro range comes standard with a ClariSea compatible engineering tank and appropriate plumbing, making the ClariSea units easy
