Goldpods - Zooplankton concentrate

With NYOS® GOLDPODS you get a ready-to-use, liquid zooplankton concentrate from the pure waters of the arctic seas. GOLDPODS include the calanoid copepod Calanus finmachicus (size 2mm). This is an ideal food for numerous delicate seawater ornamental fish and LPS corals.

High-quality raw material as a basis:

The secret of the NYOS® GOLDPODS lies in a very high quality raw material. The freshly caught copedodes are processed in a special process developed at a Norwegian university. This patent-pending method deactivates autolytic enzymes that would further decompose valuable components such as fatty acids and proteins. The copepods are also coated with an ultra-thin membrane made from natural marine components. This successfully counteracts the escape of important nutrients.
