Planktonic microfood. NYOS® INSTANT PLANKTON are highly developed planktonic micro-food clusters for corals, lower animals and marine ornamental fish (particle size: 5-20 m).
With this state-of-the-art phytoplankton substitute, a special process is used to combine individual, round food particles in such a way that new micro-food clusters with tiny air pockets are created. Due to the air inclusions, the food clusters formed in this way do not sink, but instead float in the water column for many hours. This guarantees maximum availability for corals and filter feeders.
The round, raspberry-like shape of these food clusters favors absorbability for corals and filter feeders.
INSTANT PLANKTON is well suited for:
- Numerous corals and lower animals that actively consume food (e.g. Azoo corals, LPS, Ricordeas, Zoanthus)
- Many sensitive fish that feed on small creatures (e.g. pipefish or dragonets)
- Regular use promotes the formation of zooplankton
- Enriched with numerous vitamins and additives
- For optimal activation, we recommend mixing it with seawater and adding a few drops of NYOS® ABSOLUTE AMINOS in a separate container
- Low in phosphate and nitrate
