ReefZlements Micro Elements FLUORINE 1L
Fluorine is a microelement found in reefs around the world at an average concentration of 1,3 mg/L. Fluorine has the general function of hardening bio-minerals and thus plays an important role in the coral calcification process.
Fluorine also plays a role in zooxanthellae regulation as it has moderate tissue activity. Therefore, careful dosing of fluorine can result in clarification of Acropora tissue and a significant increase in yellow and green fluorescence under actinic light.
Fluorine Zlement coupled with a regular testing regime allows any aquarist to make corrections to iodine levels to ensure levels in their aquarium water remain within the best range for their friends.
10 ml Fluorine Zlement increases the fluorine concentration of 100 liters by 0,2 mg/l
1000ml bottle
IMPORTANT NOTE: Fluorine in high doses is toxic and can cause corals to shed their zooxanthellae. It is also able to irreversibly inhibit photosynthetic enzymes. Don't overdose on it and make sure the levels are adequate with regular testing.
