Reef Zlements Ba Barium (Ba/Barium) – Trace Elements

Barium is a trace element found in reefs around the world that plays an important role in coral calcification.

It is important to check the barium content using ICP analysis and to ensure appropriate levels and stability through appropriate barium dosage.

The level of barium in seawater varies greatly depending on the ocean and depth, but the consensus is that a level of 10 µg/L is an acceptable concentration.

The use of Reef Zlements Ba Barium coupled with a regular testing procedure allows any aquarist to correct barium levels and ensure that the levels in their aquarium remain within the optimal range for their animals.

1 ml Reef Zlements Ba Barium increases the barium concentration of 100 liters by 1 µg/l.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Barium is quite safe to administer, but in high doses it is toxic to all animals and causes death.
