Copper is mainly used to maintain the health of the aquarium and to treat parasite infestations. The copper concentration should not be higher than the recommended levels that come with the agent you are using.
The copper concentration in the aquarium must be maintained at the therapeutic level for several weeks.
Frequent testing is necessary to monitor copper levels in the aquarium.
The new Royal Copper test kit measures total copper content in PPM equivalent to mg/l from 0 PPM to 5 PPM and up to 50 tests.
Test instructions
Keep out of reach of children.
Danger! Before each use of the test vial or measuring spoon, make sure to wash it with RO water only and dry it with a soft paper.
Attention: Always store the Cu-1 reagent in a dark place (in the box) and minimize exposure to light.
The results of the professional Royal Copper test kit are in PPM.
With each kit you receive 50 tests.
Just 1 step:
1. Add 2 ml of aquarium water to the test tube using the 2,5 ml syringe.
2. Add 2 drops of Cu-1 to the test cell and swirl gently for 30 seconds.
Hold the test cell next to the included color card on a white part of the card and compare the colors as seen from the side of the test cell. Read the corresponding copper content.
A medium color corresponds to a medium copper content.
