Royal Magnesium Chloride powder – is obtained from the unique water of the Dead Sea. Each liter of Dead Sea water contains 170 grams of magnesium chloride.
The manufacturer uses giant solar energy pans to evaporate this brine to a concentration of 33%.
Magnesium chloride is obtained through further dehydration using heat and flocculation/palletizing processes. With a concentration of around 47%, our material is white, of consistently good, stable quality and free of ammonia.
For sale in 1kg and 4kg buckets.
Please prepare a 5 liter canister.
Dissolve 2 kg of Royal Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate in 4 liters of reverse osmosis water and top up the rest with reverse osmosis water. If you do not use sea salt (without NACL), it is recommended to dissolve another 200 grams of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate in the solution. Larger or smaller canisters can also be used, you simply need to extrapolate the amounts you add for each canister.
Depending on the volume of the tank, each solution is now monitored manually to determine the quantities actually required. Before adding a solution, you must determine the current water values.
For example:
50 ml of this solution in a 500 liter tank.
Value before dosing = 1200 ppm magnesium. After 2-3 hours you repeat the test and find that the magnesium value after the second test is 1250 ppm magnesium. In this example, 50 ml of this solution increased the magnesium value by 500 mg/liter in a 50 liter tank.
Now program the dosing pump to add 7 ml of the solution once per day, so that 50 ml of the solution is spread over a week.
This allows you to calculate the magnesium loss due to coral growth and add the amount required to achieve the desired levels.
