With the Salifert professional test Ca you can easily determine the calcium content in seawater.
Natural sea water has a calcium content of between 425 and 450 mg/l. This value should also be achieved in the aquarium. Corals need calcium for their structure and therefore constantly remove calcium from the water, so this has to be replenished again and again. Calcium is also important for many biological processes. Regular monitoring of the calcium content in seawater is therefore particularly important.
The test set contains detailed instructions, the easy-to-read, finely graduated color card and a disposable syringe for taking the water sample. The Salifert professional test Ca -Calcium- is sufficient for 50 – 100 tests in seawater. Results are displayed in 10 mg/L increments with a sharp color change.
