In addition to calcium and strontium, some corals and calcareous red algae also store magnesium in their skeleton. Biochemically, it is directly involved in the photosynthesis of algae, i.e. the conversion of carbon dioxide and light into organic compounds. Magnesium is therefore one of the most important minerals in seawater.
Tropic Marin® Bio-Magnesium supplies magnesium and carbon dioxide in a form that is optimally biologically usable, so that a magnesium deficiency in seawater is prevented and the natural concentration ratio between the alkaline earth metals is restored. These are basic requirements for a healthy coral reef in the aquarium.
– for the biologically ideal supply of magnesium in crystalline form in the reef aquarium
– supplies magnesium for strong skeletal growth of corals and calcareous red algae
– supplies carbon dioxide for the zooxanthellae to support photosynthesis and calcareous skeleton structure
– The natural ionic composition and pH value of the water are not changed
– without unnatural by-products
– without phosphates and nitrates
– precise dosing and easiest application
Natural seawater has an average magnesium content of 1.280-1.300 mg/l. First measure the magnesium concentration of your aquarium water and estimate the water volume of your tank taking into account the decoration (stones, etc.).

liquid
Adding 50 ml of Tropic Marin® Bio-Magnesium Liquid per 100 l increases the magnesium content by 25 mg/l.
Recommended maximum dose: 50 ml per 100 l of aquarium water per day.
?
Tropic Marin® Bio-Magnesium Liquid can be added to the aquarium water manually or using a dosing pump.
To refill the bottle, 450 g of Tropic Marin® organic magnesium in crystalline form can be added to 1 liter of solution with reverse osmosis water
Concentrations of over 1.600 mg/l magnesium should be avoided as various organisms may react negatively to extremely high magnesium levels.
Over time, the density of the water may increase slightly. Please check the density regularly. In addition to the magnesium concentration, the calcium content should also be monitored.
