Liquid pH buffer and KH generator for seawater aquariums
For good coral growth, saltwater aquariums require optimal buffering with a stable carbonate hardness between 7 and 9 °dH. In addition, fluctuations in the pH value, e.g. B. in the case of hyperacidity caused by excretions and decomposition processes, all aquarium inhabitants can quickly become stressed and sick and thus shorten the lifespan of the animals. Tropic Marin® Liquid Buffer effectively increases carbonate hardness and stabilizes the pH value in the optimal range between pH 8,1 and 8,4.
– Helps reliably and quickly if the pH value is outside the recommended range of 8,1 – 8,4
– Counteracts when precipitation has reduced the alkalinity and thus the buffering capacity of the water
– Reduces stress for all aquarium inhabitants through more stable water conditions
– Suitable for an aquarium stock with saltwater fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS, other filter feeders and/or crustaceans
– Easy to use – suitable for both manual dosing and dosing pumps
Check the carbonate hardness and pH of the aquarium water regularly. The carbonate hardness in the saltwater aquarium should be 6 - 9 °dH, the pH value between 8,1 - 8,4.
If the values are significantly different (pH less than 7,7 or greater than 8,6 / carbonate hardness less than 5 °dH), add 30 ml of Tropic Marin® Liquid Buffer per 100 l of aquarium water, which adds approx. 0,8 °dH. Repeat the application daily if necessary. A carbonate hardness of 9 °dH should not be exceeded.
1000 ml Tropic Marin® Liquid Buffer provides the aquarium with 2800° carbonate hardness builder.
