Like fish, corals and other filter feeders require nutrients for their growth and well-being. Natural zooplankton is an important source of energy and nutrients for hard corals and other plankton filter feeders. In the sea, zooplankters move from deeper water layers into the habitat of the reef corals mainly at night. In the reef aquarium it is important to offer this natural wealth of plankton to the corals as close to nature as possible.
 
Tropic Marin® Zooton is a balanced plankton replacement for stony corals, especially small polyp stony corals, and other plankton filter feeders in saltwater aquariums. It consists mainly of selected animal and plant ingredients from the sea, which are rich in trace elements and minerals. The ingredient spirulina provides large amounts of carotenoids and, together with brewer's yeast, covers the need for natural B vitamins, especially vitamin B12.

One measuring spoon twice daily Tropic Marin® Zootone Dose to 200 to 500 l aquarium contents. Plus the appropriate amount Tropic Marin® Zootone Stir in some aquarium water in a cup and let it soak briefly. Slowly add the food prepared in this way to the aquarium water so that the animals can absorb it.
