The sea salt Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef is designed for the special care conditions in a reef aquarium: the optimized concentrations of calcium and magnesium promote the growth of the corals. The adapted buffering stabilizes the pH value and carbonate hardness, even when using lime reactors and other methods for lime supply. This precise coordination of all influencing variables creates natural and sustainable living conditions in the aquarium with an alkalinity in the range of 7-8 °dH.

To achieve a salinity of 32-35 ‰ (psu), dissolve 35 ml (approx. 37-40 g) of Tropic Marin® Pro-Reef per liter of water in a container. The seawater prepared in this way can be used as soon as the salt has completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The density of the sea salt solution should be 1,022 to 1,024 at a temperature of 25°C.
