Tropic Marin® Syn-Biotic sea salt contains probiotic bacteria for fish and shrimp as well as special prebiotic bacterial food to promote probiotic bacterial strains and to create nutrient-poor conditions in the aquarium for LPS and SPS corals. Syn-Biotic sea salt is ideal when setting up a new pool and restocking it. Probiotic bacteria have been proven to improve the health and well-being of fish and crustaceans and help overcome stressful situations and illnesses. For optimal acclimatization, aquarium water with Syn-Biotic sea salt should be used before introducing new animals.

The prebiotic additives contained support the incorporation of nitrates and phosphates into bacterial mass and, thanks to these nutrient-poor conditions, ensure the bright colors of the stone corals. To achieve a salinity of 32-35‰ (psu), dissolve 35 ml (approx. 37-40g) Tropic Marin® Syn-Biotic per liter of water in a container with water circulation. The sea water prepared in this way can be used as soon as the salt is completely dissolved. The density of the sea salt solution should be 1,022 to 1,024 at a temperature of 25°C.
