Since the end of 2021, this small basement room has had a new task. There has probably never been as much going on there as there is now! You can see that the four basins fill the space quite well, in total they only hold around 1100L. However, there are usually more animals in the shop than can be permanently bred in this facility. You know the problem that is aquarium discord too small.
That's why Jojos Corals doesn't just consist of this one basement room.
Many of the mother animals are in various living rooms and cellars in the surrounding area with coral fan friends. In the spirit of Community Corals 😊

This makes it possible to always offer a solid selection of corals without having to resort to imports. And without having to look after a huge pool system. The animals that you see in my shop have all been in aquariums for some time and have been propagated and distributed several times. And I also try to attach importance to sustainability when it comes to packaging and energy supply.
For example, a large proportion of Styrofoam boxes come from local sources, where they are saved from disposal. That's also the reason why you'll probably never get two packages from me that look the same. 🙂

The mix of animals in the pools has just evolved over time and everyone is allowed there stay where he feels comfortable. The pools are also sharedem a water cycle, so the water values are similar for all animals. I strive for naturenahe values, 7,5 degrees KH, 420mg/L Calcium, 0,05-0,08mg/L Po4 and about 10mg/L No3to reach a compromise for everyone Resident to offer.
