What is CommunityCorals?

Buyers and sellers benefit from special express shipping conditions, which allow live animals to be shipped at prices starting at €18,90. CommunityCorals manages the payment processing and is always available as a contact person.
What is a captive coral?
By a captive coral we understand as a minimum requirement that the mass of the mother coral after fragmentation must not be smaller than it was when received. According to our definition, the mass that has grown in the aquarium is considered a captive bred coral.
These are the minimum requirements that we set for an offspring, but we believe that by selling such a frag, a contribution has been made to protecting the reefs and the animal is used to the environment of the aquarium.
In addition to the usual aquarium-grown breeding corals offered on CommunityCorals, sellers also have the option of offering breeding corals from farms abroad. These are clearly marked with the keyword “farm offspring” in order to distinguish them for the customer. Please pay attention to the information under “Origin”.
Our vision is to trade corals between CommunityCorals members over many generations, thereby contributing to reef protection and species conservation.
How do I become a farmer?
We offer different membership models tailored to the different needs of coral sellers. You can use our shipping conditions, use your own shipping contract or just sell for collection.

CommunityCorals sends corals as pets via our shipping partners Jungle-Express and GO! overnight The shipping price for shipping live animals is only €22,90 or, in the case of GO! determined by the seller.
Our local farmers do not offer shipping. These are identified by a corresponding symbol. The frag from local farmers are only displayed if the area search is used in our shop. If you are specifically looking for a pick-up, we recommend using the area search.
